I wanted folks to know that it absolutely, positively works with LaserJet 4000 & 4050 printers. Bought 2 cables. My only con is that it is 6' so I had to rearrange one of the work areas. If you read and follow the directions to the tee, it will work exactly as described. The first installation I did, I skipped a step and it didn't work. Note: use Windows Update to grab the printer where applicable if it isn't on the list.
